I am currently running a PennController/PCI-Ibex experiment that involves audio recording using the MediaRecorder. At the moment, my script is still using the demo URL for saveRecordings.php. I do not have independent server space with PHP support to host the upload endpoint.

Please let me know whether the PCIbex Farm provides hosting for recording uploads, or whether there is an approved server endpoint that researchers can use to save participant audio files.

Additionally, if I were to set up storage on a local institutional server and run it from different locations, are there any recommended practices or requirements regarding security, authentication, or access permissions that I should follow to ensure compliant data handling?

If any specific configuration or request procedure is required from my side, I would be grateful if you could share the details or relevant documentation.

Hello. PCIbex Farm does not provide hosting services. You can use this tutorial to have your own AWS server and s3 bucket: https://www.utkuturk.com/posts/aws-s3-pcibex/

As for data security, you should talk to your IRB. Good things to remember is to encryption at-rest and also not having a public access.
