Stroop task

I am currently working on a “modified” Stroop task on PCIbexFarm and require assistance with somes issues. Firstly, I am inquiring about setting up a timer between trials. The objective is to initiate the timer at 0 ms for each stimulus and conclude it once participants identify an answer. Subsequently, the program should log the time taken to provide an answer.

Given that stimuli are randomly presented, how can I ensure that the same word or color does not repeat from one trial to the next? For instance, I have 4 words (Mot1, Mot2, Mot3, Mot4) and 4 color conditions (red, blue, green, yellow). Each word should appear once in each color: Mot1 once in red, once in blue, and so forth. Therefore, Mot1 is never followed by Mot1, or is never followed by for example Mot3.
