Hi Jeremy,
I recently (starting yesterday) ran into a problem where my studies are unable to access the files I have uploaded to the server. This seems to be happening across all of the studies I have in PCIbex. Here’s the error, though the link changes depending on the folder in the server:
[15:14:53] Error downloading https://www.rhosean.xyz/nsfSESresults/resources/APIMaudio.zip:;Error: InvalidStateError: Failed to read the ‘responseText’ property from ‘XMLHttpRequest’: The value is only accessible if the object’s ‘responseType’ is ” or ‘text’ (was ‘arraybuffer’). (newTrial: NA)
I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this, as I haven’t changed any code recently and I haven’t touched some of the studies in a while.
These are links to some studies I’m currently using that this is happening with:
– https://farm.pcibex.net/r/PqBTLS/ (ses)
– https://farm.pcibex.net/r/YeGxfx/ (dld 1)
– https://farm.pcibex.net/r/MlfuwZ/ (dld 2)
– https://farm.pcibex.net/r/iFARtF/ (dld 3)Let me know what other information I should provide.
Thanks,

There is a problem with your domain: when I try to open https://www.rhosean.xyz/nsfSESresults/resources/APIMaudio.zip directly in my browser, I get a “Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead” message. Most likely your SSL certificate has expired. Renew your certificate and the problem should go away

Thanks for the quick response! I clicked on the link and the details under Advanced said that the certificate expired four days ago. I checked in DreamHost though and it said the certificate I have (Let’s Encrypt Certificate) is good until 06-17-22. Do have any idea about the reason for the discrepancy? Or is there a different certificate I should get?
Thanks,

When I open your certificate, I get these validity dates:
Validity Not Before Sun, 23 Jan 2022 05:41:45 GMT Not After Sat, 23 Apr 2022 05:41:44 GMT
I’m not sure where the discrepancy lies, but maybe you could try to manually force a certificate refresh on DreamHost?

I removed the certificate and then added it back, and now all of my studies are able to access the server again. Not sure why this happened in the first place, but thanks for your help!
