Problem reading results file

Hi Jeremy!

I’m having some problems reading my results file. I have a script that I usually use, the first part is the function read.pcibex that you designed. So when I run this with my results file I get only 4358 rows (instead of the 33000 rows approximately) with this error message:

Warning message:
In scan(file = file, what = what, sep = sep, quote = quote, dec = dec, :
EOF within quoted string

The results are from a cloze experiment: participants had to complete sentences with whatever they wanted. From what I could understand, the problem is due to some characters I have in the file. I spotted some quotes in the responses and I tried tampering the read.pcibex function but I did not succeed. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Noelia,

Have you tried simply passing quote="" to the two occurrences of read.csv in the body of read.pcibex?

Feel free to send me the results file at support@pcibex.net if that is OK with your privacy policy (I would delete the file as soon as we solve the issue)
