MediaRecorder's Ajax post failed

I am facing a problem using MediaRecorder.

I prepared my server using DreamHost, uploaded the php file and a folder named ‘uploads’ according to the Server Setup guide, cloned the model project named ‘Oral Production (MediaRecorder),’ and changed the URL for the ‘InitiateRecorder’ command. However, when I ran it, it showed the following error: MediaRecorder’s Ajax post failed;Could not GET https://###/###/###.php.

I wondered if the URL was incorrect, so I uploaded the php file which was posted in this forum before (the one that prints ‘Hello, Word!’) and checked it in a web browser, but it worked without any problems. I also checked the permissions of the php file and ‘uploads’ folder – both 755.

Now I don’t know what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Shamim,

Did you make sure the domain where you run your experiment matches the one you reference in the line header("Access-Control-Allow-Origin: https://my.domain.xyz");? It should be https://farm.pcibex.net if you are running your experiment on the farm (like here)
