How to preload in advance

Hi Jeremy,

There is a significant delay (“preloading…this may take up to 1 min”) in the presentation of items in my experiment. I am using audio files which are roughly around 100 kb and in .m4a format. Is the delay due to my file size/extension? How can I preload the materials so that there is no delay between items?

Hi Krishna,

All resources start preloading as soon as your participants open your experiment’s page, so you can’t preload earlier than that. Having welcome screens, consent forms, etc. at the very beginning gives time for the resources to preload in the background before participants reach a trial that uses a resource
