Gets stuck after preloading stuff

Our experiment is quite simple. We play to the participant an MP3-coded sentence in Hebrew that contains a new invented word and ask whether it sounds good or bad. And we do that 56 times.

It consists of the following

1. INTRODUCTION – The experiment is explained to the participant, and we make sure he/she is a native Hebrew speaker and has a PC with headphones.

2. PRACTICE – We run a three-sentence practice.

3. EXPERIMENT – We run a randomized set of 56 sentences and save the results.

4. WRAPUP

When I run it in Chrome, it stops for preloading before Step #3 (EXPERIMENT), then, after a long time (presumably after preloading is completed) it shows the title “Test #1 out of 56” and never plays the first (randomized) sentence. It just gets stuck.

Any help will be wellcome.

(Why I call it ‘our’ experiment? Because I wrote the PCIbex code for my son Noam. He is the linguist, I am the coder.)
